How long does it take for African violet leaf to grow roots?

I recently got African Violet for my office, and I cut one leaf out and put it in warm water.


How long will it take to grow roots?


(I'm in Los Angeles, CA and the sun is pretty warn these days. day time temperature is about 77 degrees)

You should see little roots in a couple of weeks. I have even cut a leaf with stem attached and planted it in dirt and in about a month or so you will see new growth. Once I got started doing this I ended up with so many new plants I had to start giving them away. Good Luck
