How can i stop being a shrinking violet?

I'd like to be a budding poet but i'm not like my friend Daisey, she's blooming marvellous.

How can i stop being a shrinking violet?
Well, let's start buy planting this thought in your head and hope that it blooms into a fragrant new life for you. My little butter cup, all social arrangements stem from the need to grow. Surround yourself with some trusted buds and you will soon see rose upon rose of potential new engagements.

Remember tho' the bark is worse than the bite and don't let climbers near you tulips or your hard work may wilt! If you fallow this advice, you will find it freesia. I must now take my leaf of you......forget-me-not!
Reply:Drink plenty of water. Sugar also helps prolong the bloom.
Reply:Very funny. I see some people think you're serious.
Reply:Just blossom
Reply:Weird
Reply:Just get out more petal!
Reply:I am in the same situation as you are and the only advice I can give is this:

Wanting to be better than others is not a bad thing.

But to make it, first you have to surpass yourself
Reply:Stop hiding behind your friend. Step out into the open. Start with baby steps but keep going even if you fall on your butt from time to time.
Reply:eat you fruit and veg
Reply:exert yourself and if you have something to say then just say it and stop awing your friend
Reply:just get your self out there.

one foot in front of the other...

and one hand...and write, write ,write.

the internet and typing stifles

hand write. there is a connection the hand to the brain that helps creativity when you hand write.

go see all of life. the poor the homeless, the wealthy, the in between.

know things ,feel things.

interact as much as you can ... even if you are shy.. till it feels more and more comfortable.

use the internet to find your next place or situation to see and to do some background research .. but don't live in it.

you choose to stay a bud in the shade or to bloom in the sun.
