I have an african violet plant inside, is several years old. It has never produced any flowers.?

It gets a fair amount of sunlight, the leaves are large and healthy. What can I do to make it produce flowers?

They like to be pot bound but they also have to be fed. There are a number of African violet foods on the market. They like indirect, but fairly bright light. A north window is perfect. Water them under the pot, and leave them to soak for about half an hour. They will draw the water up and get wat they need without wetting the leaves which makes them rot. Avoid getting the leaves wet if you can. Once or twice per month, feed them with the African violet food through the watering system. Let them get dry between waterings. Schultz African Violet Food is a good choice.

Every three years or so, it is worth re-potting them with new soil made specifically for them.
