Does anybody else actually like the names Violet and Eloise?

most people find them to be ugly or too old fashioned, but i love them....what do you think about them? btw im not pregnant so im not looking for other suggestions, thanks

Love 'em both. Eloise always reminds me of the girl in the 'Eloise' books because my youngest daughter adores them.

Reply:OMG!! My sister LOVES the name Violet.. she can't wait to have a girl (only a boy for her so far) so she can name her that, her other choices are Olivia and Apple... I pray she actually picks Violet because it is a really cute sweet name! I like it too, but I don't think I will be naming my girl that!
Reply:I love Violet, I think it is a gorgeous name and I personally like the old fashioned names (my daughters name is Abigail) but Eloise is just a little too old personish for my taste!

Reply:I am not really a fan of either...although they are not too bad (there are many, many names that are MUCH worse!). I really love Elise...but without the 'o'. So, similar, I guess.
