that is the look i seem to have now...i am trying to figure out what to do...should i put shampoo and baking soda to try to lift some of that violet shampoo out of my hair? ....
Can the violet shampoo dump too much color and make highlights look dirty?
Hmmm...the violet shampoo must be something like ShimmerLights. It's meant to take the brassy tones out of blonde highlights. Many people make the mistake of not lathering it in their hands before applying it to their hair, so it leaves a dingy, sometimes purplish, color on the highlights. Wash it again, first with a clarifying shampoo, then again with the violet shampoo.
