Last name is Street- Violet Street? yay or nay?

What do you think of the name Violet for a girl?
AWWW cute. i like the name violet very convivial and positive- sounding. major yay.
Reply:i like it, but maybe spell it differently. say... Violette

if you like the V names think about Vittoria too
Reply:perhaps i prefer something else..
Reply:Your last name is Street? Cool ^^ lol

I dont really care for the name Violet tho....
Reply:I love it....I have a friend named Violet and she is the sweetest girl I know.
Reply:How about Scarlet.
Reply:I keep thinking of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory....
Reply:go for it
Reply:I don't really care names of colors. And I associate the name with Willy Wonka. How about something like Scarlett Grace, or Vaeda Rayne or Avea Lisette?
Reply:yeahhh
Reply:I do like Violet, but I'd avoid such a literal word name with your familiar word surname. Just tends to bring to mind a purple road, unfortunately.

Perhaps less-literal, but similar sound/feel, Viola, Vivian, Charlotte, Juliet or Dahlia Street would also appeal? ;)
Reply:Love it
Reply:nayyyy
Reply:I like Violet, but what about Cornelia?

Idk i read a book and the girl's name was Cornelia Street.

or cornelia violet street

or violet cornelia street
Reply:Violet is a pretty name.
Reply:yay
Reply:I like Violet but with the surname Street, it sounds kind of soap opera-ish!

Violet Street... it's a nay from me, sorry!
Reply:I like it but with a last name like street you need a name that is not also a word.
Reply:It is a really cute name and not too common right now. Violet Street is cute. What about the middle name?
Reply:It's alright

A bit dated
Reply:it's a very sweet name and my favorite flower too
Reply:I think Violet is a great name, but not with that last name. How about Viola instead? It's a classic Shakespearean name, and it sounds less cheesy. Viola Street sounds nice.
Reply:Yay!

My husband is stuck on Violet Kathleen if we have a girl. I think Violet is very cute and is good with age. Besides, it's classic yet uncommon. Great choice!
Reply:I think it is cute, but it has become a little trendy since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner named their kid that.
Reply:It sounds pretty good. I always like colors and/or flowers as names (big fan of Blue's Clue's). I agree with the other person Violette is better for a name.
Reply:I like the name, it is one of my favorites.
Reply:A very perky and pretty name. It's terribly old-fashioned and charming. I can just see Eliza Doolittle selling bunches of sweet-smelling violets. I like that both names are actual words. Don't change the spelling! Yay from me!
Reply:Are you going to pronounce it

Violet like the color or Vi-o-let?

I like Vi-o-let better!
Reply:Oh I love love love the name! one of my all time favorites, I think it is very cute and old fashioned. Im not sure about it with the last name Street, but I guess any name could sound weird paired with it. All and all its cute, i would go for it. good luck!
Reply:I love it and wanted to consider it for my youngest daughter, but my husband couldn't get past the fact that it is a name used by hookers in Mexico, even though we probably will never live in Mexico again. :-(

I like the english version, but the Violette, Violetta 's do bring those hookers to mind...
Reply:Watch the movie Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory, 1st version. Then think about Violet.
